people think about surgery. We use state-of-the-art technology to perform
many types of minimally invasive procedures.  Patients who choose CMIS’s
minimally invasive procedures over conventional surgery may no longer face
lengthy recoveries and hospital stays. Instead, you are able to get back to the

Is Minimally Invasive Surgery the Right Choice for Me?
Ask your doctor, or contact us and we will put you in touch with a surgeon who
specializes in minimally invasive surgery.
Minimally Invasive simply means that during surgery there is minimal damage to
tissues.  Special medical equipment is used, such as fiber optic cables,
miniature video cameras or special surgical instruments handled via tubes
inserted into the body through small, dime-sized incisions. The images of the
interior of the body are transmitted to external video and the surgeon uses them
to make a diagnosis, visually identify internal features and/or perform surgical
procedures on them.

The Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery uses state-of-the-art technology to
perform many types of minimally invasive procedures, including
robotic surgery,
laparoscopic surgery, arthroscopic surgery, microsurgery, endovascular
surgery (such as angioplasty) and heart catheterization.

Some of the specific surgeries we perform are: Aortic Valve Replacement, Mitral
Valve Replacement & Repair, Atrial Septal Defect repair, Tricuspid Valve
Replacement & Repair, Patent Foramen Ovale Repair, select Coronary Bypass
surgeries,
Radical Prostatectomy, ACL Reconstruction, Varicose Vein Repair
and
Thoracic Sympathectomy.
